Privacy Policy
This page explains, in plain language, what information the checklist tool collects, what it never collects, and how you can delete everything at any time.
Using the checklist without signing in
You can use the general checklist without signing in or giving us anything. Your checked-off items are saved only in your own browser (on your device), never sent to us. Clearing your browser data or switching devices will reset it.
What an account stores
If you choose to sign in — to save your progress permanently or select specific programs — we store: your email address, a securely hashed version of your password (never the password itself), which checklist items you've checked off, which programs you've selected, and, only if you choose to add one, a first name for your dashboard greeting.
What we never collect
We never ask for or store passport or ID numbers, your DENTPIN, exam scores, immigration status, or any uploaded documents. Nothing that identifies you beyond your email and whatever you choose to tell us in the community application.
How sign-in works
You sign in with your email and a password you choose. Your password is stored as a securely hashed value — we never store or can see the actual password. We only email you if you use the "Forgot password" link, or for reminders you set up yourself. We don't send marketing email.
We don't sell or share your data
We don't sell or rent your data, and we don't run ad trackers. To see which pages are useful, we count anonymous page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you. To run the site we use service providers for hosting, the database, and email delivery; they handle your data only to provide those services for us.
If you apply to join the community
The community application asks where you are in the process, whether you're a dentist or student, where you trained, your goal, and why you want to join. We keep your answers only so I can decide whether to approve you and which channels fit you, and they are deleted with your account. The community itself runs outside this site: what you write there is visible to other approved members and can be removed by me.
Cookies
When you sign in, we set one essential cookie that keeps you signed in on your device for up to 90 days, and it is removed when you sign out. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Spam and abuse protection
To keep sign-in safe from bots and repeated guessing, we may run a bot check and limit how many attempts can be made. For that limit we keep only a scrambled (hashed) version of the email or network address used, never the plain value.
Delete your account and data, anytime
Sign in, open the checklist page, and use the "Delete my account and data" option. This permanently and immediately erases your email, password, saved progress, selected programs, notes and due dates, and personal tasks from our systems — no need to email us or wait.
